uRide for Recovery

As I lay in my warm, cozy bed this morning, I thought about our friends in Japan.  I realized that it’s almost been three weeks since the earthquake and many are still sleeping in shelters, with hundreds others, trying to stay warm and cozy too.  They are mourning the loss of their loved ones.  Many may not have a home to return to.    In addition, they also now need to be wary about the food they eat and their own health.  As if that isn’t enough devastation, we all know from the news reports that the crisis continues and road to recovery will be a slow one.  Sigh.

You can make a difference.  Help raise money with Uforia for those affected in Japan with the Enoch Choi Foundation.  The Enoch Choi Foundation sends medical professionals in short term deployments for disaster medical relief providing acute care, public health and spiritual care to develop and disseminate best practices. Currently 100% of donations go to Japan.

On Friday April 1st, simply bring your $30 donation and participate in the 5:30pm or 6:45 pm spin classes led by Jordana and DJ Alex Gould.  If you don’t want to spin, come join everyone in the studio for happy hour drinks supplied by PAMA Liqueur and Jazz Cellars, an award-winning SF urban boutique winery, cupcakes by Sprinkles, Chef Toshi Sakuma of Kaygetsu will be preparing sushi for the event, Made in Palo Alto Magazine, BRIM (a hat store) and EO an organic essential oil products company which is donating shampoo, toiletries and hand sanitizer.

Join in the fun, support your community and make a difference to those who need our help.  Sign up now to reserve your bike, they are going quickly.
