We all know that it can be hard to eat healthfully in our busy lives, but it’s incredibly important – after all, we need good fuel to power us through all of our workouts! It was especially important for me to eat lots of fruit and veggies while I was pregnant, so smoothies were a go-to for me. Here’s my favorite recipe. Enjoy!
Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth:
– about 2 cups of kale, torn and washed
– 1/2 cup frozen mango
– 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
– a little bit of lemon juice
– 1 banana
– 1 cup of coconut water (or regular water, if you prefer)
Once blended, add a few ice cubes if you like your smoothies icy cold.
