On Mondays, we bring you great tunes from the uforia family. The songs are linked to Spotify, so just click and rock out!
This week, Revolutions Rockstar Tessa offers us some of her favorite tunes for tapping it back on the bike and toe-tapping at the office. You can catch Tessa and her excellent musical choices on Tuesdays at 5:30pm and Thursday mornings at 6:15am. If you haven’t had a chance to ride with her yet, you are missing out, big time! And tomorrow evening, Tessa will be jamming to some of Queen Bey’s best in her Beyoncé-themed ride. What could be better?? Only a few spots left, so sign up now! We promise, this is no April Fool’s prank.
Clean Bandit – Rather Be feat. Jess Glynne: I could listen to this song all day long. It brings the perfect blend of calm and hype. You can definitely expect to crank it up and dance it out to this one in my classes.
MØ – XXX 88: I love pretty much anything Diplo touches. MØs beautiful voice over this heavy beat is pure magic. (And you can expect to hear Diplo’s flawless remix of “Drunk in Love” in our Beyoncé ride on Apr 1 — be there!)
Janelle Monáe – Electric Lady [feat. Solange]: This song has powered me for the past 6 months. I sing this one in the shower, in the car, and at work (bothering everyone around me without a care). This song makes me miss singing at the top of my lungs with my (and Shane’s) old a cappella group in college.
JAY Z – No Church In The Wild: This beat is everything, and riding along to it makes you feel like a total badass. Kanye, Jay, and Frank are the holy trinity in my book.
Betty Who – Somebody Loves You: This song (along with Haim’s “Don’t Save Me”) screams summer to me and reminds me of driving around on warm nights with my best friend. My favorite female anthems of the year!
Sam Smith – Safe With Me: One of my favorite voices ever. Whether killing the hook on Disclosure’s dance hit, “Latch” or hitting the perfect falsetto on “Nirvana“, Sam Smith just speaks to me. This Brit has soul in his bones.
