What was once a renovated church-turned-studio, a few classes a day, with our Founder Sarah manning the desk, is now a bustling two-studio fitness community that serves up sweat to 300 uforians each day! And our Crew is growing. What are we up to? We’re creating the #bestsweatofyourlife and building the workout community you’ve always dreamed of! Who are we? Well a lot of us began just like you, uforians who just couldn’t get enough!
Meet Danielle:
“I grew up in the East Bay and played soccer for a long time, until I blew out my knee in high school. My whole family is pretty active though – my mom is a personal trainer and spin/bootcamp/everything instructor, my dad a long-time runner, and my siblings both grew up playing soccer, too – so I really didn’t have a choice. I’ve gotten into running here and there since I had to quit soccer, but have always preferred the camaraderie of team sports, which is why I was so excited when I discovered uforia.”

What does that mean?
From bikes, to mics, to back-to-back Revolutions transitions that run like clockwork, my job is to make sure you and our Rockstars can #embracethesweat with ease…well, relative ease!
Favorite Palo Alto hot spots?
I’m pretty sure I spend more time at uforia than at any other spot in Palo Alto… I just can’t get enough of the energy and the community here, so uforia might be my #1! Other than that, I enjoy going out to eat and for coffee: Philz, Vino Locale, La Morenita, and Curry Up Now are some of my faves.
What do you do in your spare time/outside uforia?
I love reading, movie nights with my roommate, spending time with my huge extended family. I also have an amazing full-time job at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health (shout-out to Revolutions Rockstar Jen Witte!).
Where do you find your uforia?
I’m so happy when I get to take class with our fantastic uforia clients and crew, so I take multiple classes a week when possible. Outside the studio, I LOVE traveling. I lived abroad for a couple of years after college and was able to travel around quite a bit while working part-time, and just became addicted. If you don’t see me around the studio for a few weeks at a time, it’s probably a safe bet that I’m living out of a backpack somewhere far from Palo Alto.
What are your favorite pre/post workout snacks?
I’d be happy with a smoothie or some yummy acai creation from Bare Bowls after every workout. (Kind of want one right now.)
Current obsession?
That song Dessert by Dawin that all the Rockstars have been playing in class. It’s been stuck in my head for weeks and I’m not complaining.
Favorite class at uforia?
I hate this question, because all of our classes are incredible. I take more Revolutions than anything else, though, so infer from that what you will.
Which class are you dying to take next?
I gotta find the time to try Devi and Jen’s GRIT!
