Just a few blocks over in downtown Palo Alto, Bare Bowls is a total favorite. Post sweat, an acai bowl is pretty darn refreshing (and filling!). Our favorites: Trailblazer + anything with peanut butter!
Our Fraiche obsession is pretty well established. On sunny day, it’s hard to say no to deliciously healthy frozen yogurt topped with fruit, honey, and shaved dark chocolate. The Omega 3 (slow-cooked oats with milled flax seed, berries, bananas, and maple syrup) is a perfect breakfast after an early morning class. Find them in Downtown Palo Alto on Hamilton and in San Francisco on Filmore Street.
Hi Lo Club:
After Hip Hop Club on a Friday night, we love heading down to the Hi Lo Club on Polk street for a post-class cocktail. It’s got an urban/vintage vibe that’s fun but not too fancy for our workout swag. And we love a good happy hour!
For a real meal, we love Spinnere on Polk street for a protein packed post-class treat. They’ve got it all–chicken, Tri Tip, Salmon, or Tofu–and they specialize in sustainable ingredients and food sources. We recommend the Crazy Kalamata salad or their What the Pho Sandwich!
For a quick post-class coffee or leisurely latte in Nob Hill, we love hitting up Flour & Co. on Hyde. They have nice wide tables in back and sunny seats out front. Everything they make is BEYOND delicious.
