All About Us: Christine

GRIT Rockstar Christine dishes on her favorite Nob Hill snack spots, favorite songs, & why she loves uforia.

Meet Christine:

I played sports throughout my life and into college. I wanted to continue to have fitness as a core part of my life, so I started teaching workout classes once I moved to San Francisco after school. uforia takes the typical workout class structure and revolutionizes it, blending fitness and music together in a fun and unparalleled way. I ‘m so stoked to be a part of such an upbeat and unique environment!

Favorite Local Hot Spots?

For healthy start to the day or afternoon snack I love the acai bowls from Basik Cafe. It’s a five minute walk from the studio and so delicious.  The wine bar Amelie is a great spot for meeting up with friends after work.  I love Dunya for dinner and its super cozy atmosphere. The Cabin and Wreck Room are awesome for a night out.

What do you do in your spare time?

Weekend adventures, co-ed sports teams in the city, cooking, writing, hiking. And when I’m not at uforia, I work at ZogSports as a League and Event Coordinator.

Where do you find your uforia?

In all the people around me and in the little things everyday.

What are your favorite pre/post workout snacks?

ACAI BOWLS, chocolate, trail mix, smoothies, and wine–recommend that as a post snack–not pre 🙂

Favorite Song At The Moment?

“Pick up the phone” by Young Thug & Travis Scott and “Chill Bill” by Rob $tone,

Anything else you want to share with our uforians?

I am the middle child of five kids and I have one of every sibling, younger brother, younger sister, older brother, and older sister. I love meeting new people, so hang back after class and we can talk wine, Nicki Minaj, or whatever your heart desires.
