Name: Sook Jung
Nickname  Sookster (not super original)
Hometown: born in Traverse City, MI, raised in Saginaw MI (a midwest girl at heart)
What is your other job outside teaching uCycle and Revolutions at uforia? Mom, Wife and School volunteer
So what made you want to pursue a career in fitness? It has always been a passion of mine and I love working with people so why not teach it?

What makes your uCycle classes different from others?I like taking my class on a ride that will hit all terrains at all different heart rates. Intervals are key!
What’s your favorite song or musician? It’s always changing, but one of my new favorites is Houdini by Foster the People.

We hear you’re a pretty great spin teacher, so what is your favorite part of teaching spin and, specifically, spin at uforia? I love the stretch at the end after working really hard. I love teaching at uforia because the clients who work out at uforia really want to be there.

How do you maintain a healthy lifestyle? I exercise regularly, stretch and eat right.
We all need a little cheat-cheat from time to time, so what’s your favorite indulgence? I love ice cream!

Three things that people may not know about you or would be surprised to learn about you?
1. My dream career would have been to be the lead singer in a rock band
2. I get really nervous speaking in front of crowds
3. I started my first year of college in the school of Engineering
If you had to describe yourself in one word, it would be: Determined
When you have a day off, we will most likely find you: Exercising, with friends or at my boys’ sporting events
What’s your favorite uforia moment? Watching people smile while exercising
