Hip Hop Club Rockstar Heidi dishes on her brunch and Beyonce obsession, her day job as a lawyer, and how she destress after work (hint: it’s on the uforia dance floor).
Meet Heidi:
My mother enrolled me in tap dancing classes at 18 months old and my feet haven’t stopped moving since! I got into hip hop in middle school and fell in love with it. I don’t know what my life would be like if I did not have hip hop to fall back to after work!

What do you do in your spare time?
In my “day job” I’m a lawyer so I don’t have much spare time. Whenever I’m not working, you can find me taking classes at uforia or spending time with my friends. I try to stay active by exploring different parts of the city. Although SF isn’t too big, there are so many things to do here constantly!
Where do you find your uforia?
I find my uforia in the courtroom. There is nothing more exhilarating than working extremely hard and getting a favorable court decision for your client.
What are your favorite pre/post workout snacks?
My favorite pre workout snack is a granola bar. It’s light and gives me the perfect amount of energy I need for class. My favorite post workout snack is a protein shake. I don’t like eating too much right after working out, so a shake is perfect and it fills me up!
Favorite Song At The Moment?
My music style is anything that you can crump and let loose to. I’m all about that Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna life. I’ve recently become obsessed with Beyonce’s “Formation” again. It is so empowering and gets me pumped to take on whatever task I need to tackle!
Anything else you want to share with our uforians?
After a hard day at work, I look forward to coming to uforia to destress and have fun! I hope you all can leave my class feeling good and motivated to face any challenges that may be coming your way.
