All About Us: Gabby

Rockstar Gabby  gives us the inside scoop on her favorite Palo Alto & Nob Hill food spots, how ballet led her into group fitness, & where she feels her happiest!

Meet Gabby

I grew up dedicating all my extra curricular time into ballet. Heading to college and no longer having a dance studio was a tough adjustment for me. I started dedicating my free time to group exercise classes to keep me moving and in shape. A few classes down, I realized I had found a new passion: becoming a group exercise instructor. I found a great mentor and was able to use my ballet/dance experience to ground me into a more fitness centric route. My first certification was Zumba, and then I broadened my horizons to more formats. I’m so excited to teach GRIT & REVOLUTIONS at uforia!

Favorite Local Hot Spots?

Palo Alto: Lyfe Kitchen.
Nob Hill: Blue Barn

What do you do in your spare time?

As my “day job” I’m a Sales Enablement/Systems Manager at Alfresco Software. When I’m not at work or uforia, I like to spend time with friends and family. I love trying new restaurants and exploring pockets of San Francisco.

Where do you find your uforia?

I find my uforia doing the things I love. Spending time in the studio is my happy place. The 55 minutes of non stop action, motivating uforians to reach their personal goals is my favorite way to start and end the day.

What are your favorite pre/post workout snacks?

Pre workout I love to hydrate with just plain water. I will add in a bar or something (perfect peanut butter bars and RX bars are my favorite). Post workout I like to have some sort of protein. If I really want to treat myself I’ll do a nice Avocado toast or a healthy smoothie bowl.

Favorite Song At The Moment?

My favorite song at the moment is” Millionaire” by Cash Cash.
