All About Us: Esteban

Hip Hop Club & GRIT Rockstar Esteban tells us how he got into fitness, how he finds his uforia, & where he loves to dance in Palo Alto!

Meet Esteban

I’ve loved dance from a young age. As I grew as a dancer, I began to appreciate the fitness aspect of it more and more. From there I began exploring different types of workouts. Fitness is not only a way to keep your body healthy but it also helps keep the mind focused, stimulated and active.  I can’t imagine my life without.

Favorite Local Hot Spots?

The Patio in downtown Palo Alto has a great dance floor. And Douce France cafe at Town & Country Village is my go to lunch and afternoon coffee spot.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love to travel. One of my favorite places to visit is Miami. I love the vibrance and the energy in that city. I also recently came back from Honolulu which was so beautiful in many ways. It was a lively, fun city surrounded by so much natural beauty.

Day to day, when I’m not at uforia teaching GRIT or Hip Hop Club I love hitting the gym and hanging out with friends.

Where do you find your uforia?

Choreographing to music. I feel that choreographing music is a way I can express myself. I love listening to songs and coming up with movements that will bring the songs to life.

What are your favorite pre/post workout snacks?

I love the Complete Cookie.  It’s vegan, all natural, and has a fantastic taste.  And I really like Quest Bars. They are super high in protein and really filling.

Favorite Songs At The Moment?

Love on the Brain by Rihanna, Make her say (Beat it Up) by Estelle, B***h Better Have my Money by rRhanna (r3hab remix),  Whine Dat by Kongsted (marwo remix),  Electrify by Oliver
