Favorite Nob Hill Hot Spots
I love Contraband Coffee Bar on Larkin right up from uforia Nob Hill; their Iced Separator Coffee & Pistachio Croissant are my go-to’s on a Sunday morning after Hip Hop. Hi Lo Club is a new discovery for me from uforia Happy Hour after Friday evening classes! It has cool decor, an awesome owner, and great drinks. Then there’s always Blue Barn salads!
What do you do in your spare time?
I play on a competitive co-ed Softball team! I’m also part of a book club my friends and I started and it’s so fun to read a different type of book each month and have great discussions over wine, cheese, and…more wine. Other than that, I love eating & drinking around SF with friends, running, and bike riding along Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m an avid runner; I completed several half marathons and a Tough Mudder. However, slight knee twinges have forced me to slow down some. A friend was nervous to try spinning for the first time, and having not tried it myself, I decided to accompany him. And that was it. I was completely hooked.
Where do you find your uforia?
Whether it’s in a uforia class, out on a run, or out dancing with friends on a Friday night, when you forget that you’re working or challenging yourself and get loose yourself. The next thing you know, it’s been an hour or more and you’re a sweaty mess with a huge smile on your face – that’s my uforia!
What are your favorite pre/post workout snacks?
Peanut Butter. Hands down. All Day. Everyday. It’s the way to my Heart.
Favorite songs at the moment?
Always the hardest question. My taste in music ranges from Motown to EDM and I have a love of remixes, covers and mashups. I will regret whichever songs I say now by tomorrow, and have a completely new answer. Ride with me in Rev by and you’ll get that day’s answer with my playlist!
Anything else you might want to share with our uforians!
Currently I work as a Dental Hygienist and an instructor for UOP Dental School. Therefore, smiling is a big part of my life. Growing up I played every team sport; basketball, softball, soccer, and volleyball. I tripped over hurdles for the track team in high school, rowed for crew in college, and danced my way through tap, ballet, jazz and Hip Hop. I try to incorporate all these aspects into my Revolutions classes – smiles, teamwork, and grooving.
